In Ustaritz, in the hills of the Nive, Aurélie Nouqueret, better known as Aury, made her double hat a signature: graphic designer, illustrator and motion designer.
Since 2010, she has accompanied associations, cultural structures and artisans in their creative projects between Béarn and the Basque Country.
In parallel, it develops a personal illustration universe that travels through the landscapes of the Southwest and a range full of life.
Two passions, one project.
Aury is the meeting of the two passions of Aurélie: the mountain and the illustration.
Originally from Lescun, in the Aspe valley, it grows with the Pyrenees in front of the eyes and this visceral attachment to high mountain landscapes.
After studying graphic design and a first life as a webdesigner, she decides to refocus her work on what she really likes: drawing what she knows, with the eyes of someone who really walked these paths.
The result: colorful, poetic illustrations, immediately recognizable, where each landscape is carefully rebuilt.
The lake of Ansabère in spring, the Aiguilles d'Ansabère from the road of Lamary, the circus of Lescun in summer as in winter, the lake of Lhurs at the flowering of the iris...
And on the Basque side, a beautiful collection dedicated to the territory: coast, villages, motifs, silhouettes.
